The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ghana (PMAG)
is the leading body representing pharmaceutical
manufacturers in Ghana. Established to promote the growth
and sustainability of the local pharmaceutical industry,
PMAG advocates for policies that support innovation,
quality, and accessibility of medicines. Our members are
committed to producing safe, effective, and affordable
pharmaceuticals that meet both national and international
standards.
PMAG works closely with government agencies, regulatory
bodies, and stakeholders to advance the interests of the
sector and ensure the highest standards of practice. Through
collaboration, capacity building, and continuous
improvement, we strive to enhance healthcare delivery and
contribute to the nation’s socio-economic development. As
the voice of Ghana’s pharmaceutical manufacturers, PMAG is
dedicated to fostering a thriving industry that benefits all
Ghanaians.

To provide suggestions on all matters connected with Pharmaceutical Industries operating in Ghana to Government and drug regulatory bodies..
To affiliate, cooperate and/or associate with any organization international or local, having similar objectives to those of this association.
To identify all problems and promote the interest of all pharmaceutical manufacturing industries in Ghana.
To do all such things including organizing workshops, training, publications and any such things which are lawful to the attainment of the objectives.
Our Purpose
The quality of medicines supplied to patients.
Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
Supervise the medicines supply chain and ensure pharmacy premises and systems are fit for purpose.
Advise other healthcare professionals about safe and effective medicines use, and safe and secure supply of medicines.
